This policy covers visits to the shop, customer accounts, orders, consultations and support requests. It supplements the purchase terms.
2. Data we process
We process the name, email, phone number, delivery and billing addresses you provide; business orders also include company name, registration and VAT numbers and contact person details. We retain ordered items, amounts, payment and delivery status, invoices, returns and warranty requests, correspondence and attachments you send.
When you register, we process account and authentication data. Technical data, such as IP addresses, browser and request information, supports site operation and security. We also record the version, time and language of your acceptance of terms. Analytics data is used according to your cookie choice. Please do not send personal data that is unnecessary for your request.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to accept orders, arrange payment and delivery, provide your account and respond to pre-purchase requests in order to enter into or perform a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We cannot process an order without the necessary data; required fields are marked on forms.
Invoices, accounting and statutory consumer claims are processed to meet legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c)). Fraud prevention, system security and defending our rights rely on our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights (Article 6(1)(f)).
Newsletters and optional analytics cookies rely on separate, voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a)). Accepting the purchase terms and this policy does not consent to advertising or analytics and does not change the legal basis for processing order data.
4. Payments and recipients
Payment processing is provided by the payment platform https://makecommerce.lv/, so our company transfers the personal data necessary to execute payments to the platform owner, Maksekeskus AS.
This transfer occurs if you choose a MakeCommerce online payment that is actually available at checkout. We share the order identifier, amount, currency and contact information required for payment. Enter card or online banking authentication details in the payment provider's environment; do not send them to NEXTAGE. For bank transfer against an invoice, we use order and incoming payment information.
Delivery, hosting, IT, email, accounting and technical support providers may receive data necessary for their respective tasks. We disclose data to authorities where required by law or necessary to defend lawful claims. Access is restricted according to responsibilities.
5. Retention and protection
Orders, invoices and other accounting documents are retained for statutory periods. Account and support data is retained as needed to operate the account, handle the request, meet warranty obligations or resolve a potential dispute. Consent records are kept as needed to demonstrate consent; newsletters stop after you unsubscribe. When the basis for processing ends, data is deleted or anonymised subject to applicable retention obligations.
We use access restrictions, encrypted connections and other appropriate technical and organisational safeguards. Where a service involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, an appropriate legal basis and GDPR safeguards must apply, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. 7. Your rights and withdrawing consent
Where applicable, you may request access and a copy, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email info@nextage.lv; we may request proportionate identity verification to protect your data. We respond within GDPR deadlines, normally one month.
You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. Every newsletter also contains an unsubscribe link. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of previous processing or data still required for a contract or legal obligation. You may complain to Latvia's Data State Inspectorate: https://www.dvi.gov.lv/.
8. Policy changes
We publish the current policy and its version on this page. Each order retains the document versions accepted at checkout. If processing requiring separate consent changes, we request that consent separately.
